Custom kitchen renovations in Stoneham and Greater Boston. Cabinets, countertops, plumbing, lighting, and flooring — all managed in-house from design to final tile.
Your kitchen is the heart of your home. Schlickmann Construction delivers custom kitchen remodels across Greater Boston and Middlesex County — from refresh-style updates to full gut renovations. Every project is managed end-to-end by our in-house team, with transparent fixed-price proposals and weekly progress updates.
A kitchen remodel touches more trades than almost any other renovation: cabinetry, plumbing, electrical, gas, flooring, tile, paint, and finish carpentry. We coordinate every specialist under one roof, so you have one accountable point of contact from the first sketch to the final walkthrough.
Our scope ranges from cosmetic refreshes — new cabinets, counters, and backsplash on existing layouts — to full structural openings, layout changes, and additions that bring more light and flow into your kitchen. We handle the design, permitting, and selections process so you don't have to chase contractors or vendors.

We produce 3D renders, finalize cabinet style, countertops, tile, hardware, and appliances, and lock the budget.
We handle every permit and inspection, then demo the existing kitchen with daily site protection and cleanup.

Most full kitchen remodels run 6 to 10 weeks once permits are pulled. Layout changes or additions push that to 10–14 weeks. Your detailed plan in step 02 includes a realistic milestone calendar.
Yes. We do plenty of "refresh" projects that keep plumbing and gas in place — replacing cabinets, counters, backsplash, lighting, and flooring without moving walls. This typically runs 5–7 weeks at a lower price point.
Always. Massachusetts requires a permit for most kitchen work involving plumbing, gas, or electrical. As CSL-121587 license-holders, we pull every required permit and coordinate with the local building department on your behalf.
We can set up a temporary cooking area in another room, often using a microwave, hot plate, and small fridge. We schedule the demolition and rough-in phases to minimize the no-kitchen window — usually 3–5 weeks.
